The lecture provides an overview of recent advances in Deep Learning Technologies in Artificial Intelligence area.

We'll discuss two articles which have made a revolution in AI:

“Playing Atari with Deep Reinforcement Learning” 2013. The authors proposed Deep Q-learning method. Their model was used to learn to play seven different games, and in three of them the algorithm performed even better than a human.
"Mastering the Game of Go with Deep Neural Networks and Tree Search" 2016. The proposed method achieved a 99.8% winning rate against other Go programs, and defeated the European Go champion by 5 games to 0.

Could be of interest for: everyone who has a basic understanding of the neural networks and classification methods, but not familiar with artificial intelligence.
